"Ties", Bhing Navato

Here I am staring at nowhere.
Creating memories of you in my care.
Reminiscing the past, it came back undefined.
When I hear your cries, it stays in my mind.

I yearned to keep you in my arms at every chance.
To remind you  were never forgotten even once.
Yet you refuse to believe,  turned into deaf ears.
Submerge into your anger, it brought me to tears.

Miles away from you, how can I make you understand?
To let you hold  and let you feel my hand?
Miles away from you, how can I start to explain?
That you mean so much and worth to endure the pain.

I waited for years to see you face to face.
I struggle to fight the emptiness that trace
All the days of longingness of your smile.
That keeps my promises worthwhile.

Prayer is my stronghold to your safety.
To protect wherever you may be.
Allow your heart to feel the greatest love.
Accept the guidance from the One  above.

Glimmer of hope I have seen through your eyes.
You are my son, nothing change that ties
You looked at me with tears, I can feel that fear.
I am your mother, for life I will always be here.
